Mercury Moments Mag is an independent literary magazine that focuses on building community through storytelling. Initially created to spark conversations about tough topics, MM is a publication that looks at the root of the issue from a bird's-eye view.

Mercury Moments accepts fiction and non-fiction creative work alike: essays, short stories, poems, and visual art/photography is always accepted.

Meet the Editor 〰️

Giera Mann is an educator, writer, and artist from Charlotte, NC. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in History from NC Central University and her Master of Arts in Women and Gender Studies from San Francisco State University.

It was during her time at SFSU that she began to understand how limiting academia can be: by prioritizing a Western viewpoint, the language used in academic writing can be too complex for the everyday person.

Mercury Moments was created to combat that.
